MPT and Ministry of Information Strengthen Cooperation in Audiovisual and Telecommunication

PHNOM PENH: Minister of Information Mr. Khieu Kanharith and Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mr. Chea Vandeth have pledged to further strengthen cooperation in the field of audio-visual and telecommunication technology.

This was confirmed by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Information Mr. Kem Kunavath, during the meeting of the two ministries on their collaboration in the field of audio-visual and telecommunications on Thursday at the office of Ministry of Information. The digital work is going to be an important task and will be taken care of by the two specialized ministries

Mr. Kem Kunavath has emphasized that the two ministers are committed to work together to fulfill all the tasks assigned by the Royal Government, and with this, both Ministries will sign a joint declaration for cooperation when the Royal Government of Cambodia is undergoing significant development in the field of information technology, especially in the field of digital.

The two ministers have expressed their pleasure and have pointed out to the officers of both ministries to cooperate more closely on all all sectors related to technical work, special skills, especially in the field of audio-visual, broadcasting and telecommunications are growing steadily.
